Working Party - August 6, 2000

Bright and early on a typical sunny Wellington day, around a dozen hearty souls descended on Wellington College to do battle with the piles of rubbish cluttering the Gifford Observatory site. After a few subtle modifications to the enclosure fence the work of shifting the rubbish proceeded with enthusiasm.

Stopping only briefly for necessary refreshment (although unfortunately nobody thought to bring beer) the site was cleared to allow construction work to start.
